Day 5

Day 5 consisted of placing the rest of the 2x6 decking as well as the 4x4 posts. The most difficult task we faced installing the 4x4 posts was placing the 2x4 bracing underneath the bridge. A total of 16 4x4 posts were installed on the bridge, each receiving a 10" bolt for reinforcing. After completing the 2x6 decking, we started placing the 2x6 top and bottom chord bracing for the guardrails. Unfortunately, our day was cut short due to rain.
